Capitalizing on a farm’s community to create efficiency.

For 107 years, the family operating Christian Hill Dairy in central Wisconsin has been stewards of their land, environment and community. Their established relationships with a local contractor and concrete tank company empowered us to design a renewable natural gas project featuring numerous efficiencies that will preserve the farm’s legacy and optimize production.

Scheduled to begin operation in late 2025, LF Bioenergy’s commitment to putting Farmers First informed every aspect of our partnership with the dairy and their trusted, local vendors. The result will be an RNG facility rooted in powerful community connections and a process the dairy trusts.

Project highlights

  • The RNG facility’s sand recovery process will remove about 10 trucks of traffic to the dairy every week.
  • The contractor’s existing relationship with Christian Hill enabled us to more readily understand unique location opportunities.
  • Additionally, the contractor had strong relationships with town and county officials, which expedited permitting and regulatory compliance.
  • The concrete tank company is located nearby, which provides unparalleled responsiveness to developing issues during construction and operation once the facility comes online.
